Family is a tough thing, which is one of the many reasons that hoomans decide to start a fur family of their own. For while not every hooman may be able to show love in the way that we need to grow and feel safe in our lives, pretty much all doggos and even most cattos can. And they do such a good job at showing us love that they have managed to heal the broken hearts of more than a few hoomans who needed them.

And that is the crux of the story we have lined up for you today, which tells the tale of a poor child whose parents were likely jealous of the warm and loving bond the child shared with their doggo. But being unable to express themselves properly, the parents ended up taking out a lot of their discontent on the doggo leading to quite the showdown and turn of events. We will not spoil it for you here, but we will say that this story is a true show of how much a darling doggo can change a heart for good.
